Please select from the eight topics one in 18th/19th and one in 20th/21st centuries

The list of topics is here.
Each student is expected to pick one topic in the time span 18th-19th century and another, different topic in the 20th-21st century. Create two blog posts. One for your topic in the 18th and 19th century, and one blog post for the 20th and 21st century. You have two weeks to research and post your results. Next week, Nov 5, class will not meet in SH 323 because the first half of class will be meeting the professor for interviews. On Nov 12, the second half of class will meet in LH 116 for interviews.
