Group 2        - London
Group 4        -Bergen
Group 4        - Reval (Tallinn)
Group 5        - Bruges

In your group, find answers to the following questions, and prepare a 5-minute presentation about the Deutsche Hanse (today, in class, you can leave the room, read the group package; prepared class presentations begin at 6:30):

1. What are important historical markers that describe the Hanse?
2. How was life for citizens in Hanse cities different from other cities that reported directly to a noble sovereign?
3. Which trade routes existed, and how did the trade
4. Describe the ships, the cities, the social make-up in Hanse cities.
5. The terms "truth" and "trust" were the key words and the driving belief among Hanse traders. Could you explain why?
6. Anything else you find noteworthy
If possible, put your presentation on one group members blog for the presentation. If not in class, disseminate it afterwards so that each group member has a blog post with this presentation.

We will listen to all groups, and determine which presentation worked best, and why that is.
